I'm here
I'm still here. Mom's been peeking on here once in awhile and never sees anybody.
I'm doing pretty good. I've been having more seizures lately.But, they don't last long and I bounce right back to my lively self. Mom woke up with a tick on her arm this morning. She's been cleaning and a spraying like crazy all day. I even got a bath. She had been lazy about keeping up with my flea and tick stuff. I got that too.
I even got a new tick collar. I feel like new man.

Glad to see you, Checkers. Sorry your having seizures, that can't be fun. My mom goes crazy when she sees ticks too. She found one not to long ago, right after my Uncle who has a farm in the Ozarks was visiting, she says she may not invite him back!!

I hope your uncle was a doggie uncle. Mommy got a laugh when she read your message. She pictured a man from the Ozarks.
Mommy worked hard for a couple of days. But she thinks she got things in control. She sprayed the yard and the house. Mommy's been brushing us alot too. I act like I don't like it, but once she starts it feels real good. She bought a new slicker brush. I really don't like that. I wiggle all over. Mom can't tell if it hurts or tickles so she stopped using it.

Checkers, it was my human Uncle! Mom don't take us pups when she visits him because of the ticks. He has ducks in his yard, he says they eat them and keep the yard safe.....yeah, right! Mom thinks, we'd try to catch the ducks....or chase his cows or get eaten by a coyote.....what a nut case she is!! I don't think she knows what fun is?!

Penny, I repsonded a couple days ago but we see it's not on here. Mom said, sorry to your uncle;-)
We are having fun enjoying the cooler weather that came through this week. It's only 74 now, last week it was in the 90's. I'm waiting anxiously for my human brother to move in with us! He's been on his own for almost two years now. He's going to move to our area and live with me for awhile. He and I got into lots of trouble when we were together. Mom says there's going to be house rules around here and he can't get me worked up. What does she mean by that? I can kinda get on people's nerves sometimes. I haven't seen a tennis ball in two years. I hope my human brother knows were they hid them.

Yes, sorry about the seizures you're having, Checkers. I hope things get lined out and you're up and feeling better soon. Seizures are very scary for the whole family.
Penny, my Mom goes into a cleaning frenzy over bugs, too. At least with the drops we get on our backs, she's stopped having to dip us. Phew! I'll take a new collar any day over that dip.

Checkers, tell your mom it's okay about the uncle thing! My mom makes no bones about ribbing him! He deserves it, they didn't call him 'Terry the terrible terror' when he was a kid without reason!! I wish we had cooler weather or at least less humidity!! It's been ugly here the last couple of days.

I've never had to have a dip before, mom, can't remember me ever having a tick. She doesn't take me out of the city. We have lots of parks to walk in but mostly we run in our yard. There's lots of squirrels to chase.
