somethings wrong with my westie

hi everyone! hope someone can help me out, my westie, whisky, is 5 years old, hes always been playful but is been like 5 days that he just doesnt leave his bed, he doesnt eat or even go out to play or do his business, he doesnt wanna go up the bed by himself he whines so someone can take him up, he whines if hes left alone in a room eventhough the doors are open, he doesnt run in the park, well he doesnt do anything! he just goes to sleep, i think hes depressed, dont know if this has something to do with it.. i got a 7 month puppy she was recently in heat and obviously whisky was after her, im just thinking about everything... i just want to know what is wrong with my baby! please help me :(

I'm so sorry to hear your Westie isn't feeling well. It's always scary when our little ones are sick. My first thought would be a visit to your vet to rule out any physical problems.

Sometimes new additions are tough on our furry companions though, so the new puppy could be a contributing factor.

I would take him to the vet right away. Sometimes an older unneutered male dog can develop prostate problems that can be aggravated by a female dog in heat nearby. It is very painful for them.

I hope you find out what is troubling him soon. We hate it when our babies are not feeling well.
