What kind of terrier do you have and what makes them so special. I have three Westies and each is so different. My girls names are Belle (8yrs), Treasure (1yr), and Olivia (1yr). My girls are special for so many reasons. They have unconditional love and loyalty, they are spunky little girls that love to have fun, they are funny and keep me laughing, they are great snugglers, they are a constant companion, and for many other reasons. I am interested in hearing why your dog friend is so special to you. It will be great to meet some new friends. Penny April 23 at 23:19 Re: What kind of terrier do you have? I'm Penny, a Mini Schnauzer, they consider us Terriers too. My mom tells me I am very special! And very sweet. She says I have the ugliest bark in the world.....hump!! I am special because I talk to her, am loyal and I snuggle, and I am very good company. I am little compared to my big Westie brother who is all boy and thinks he's king around here......I'm older so I'm really the boss! It's storming here so mom says, I have to shut down,NOW! Now when it comes to barking, Treasure thinks she is true barker. She loves to bark at squirrels and is it loud. I know she would like to spend some good barking time with you. Now little Olivia is a little snuggle bunny. It is so nice meeting you!! We hope we can talk together some more. We would also like to hear more about your brother. He has a girl friend named Jolly-of 'Jeanie, Jolly and Annabel'. He is very spoiled and tries to be the boss of me but mom won't let him, she says I was here first!! My mom doesn't post much because she works two jobs most of the time, so she doesn't have a lot of time. She likes to lurk to make sure everyone is well. She never talks much anyway....she says we do enough talking for her. We make our mom laugh too. I'm the serious one and Jack is the comic! He snuggles with mom too. He loves to zoom and play with toys. He is mom's second Westie. Her Westie, girl, Daisy helped raise me she was the best mom to me and loved and protected me. She was a wonderful dog....this Jack guy, well, he does take care of me when I'm scared when it storms, so I guess I'd better not say anything bad about him!!! He sounds like a pretty good little brother, although I know he can be aggravating at times. I know Belle feels that way about Treasure and Olivia. She will be 9 in May. Treasure turns 2 on Sunday and Olivia turns 2 in May. I have to make them be nice to Belle, also, sometimes. They just like to play, play, play. She doesn't always want to play, because she is kind of serious like you. Belle sounds like Daisy. She helped to raise Treasure and Olivia, and their Golden sister, Gracie. She also helped to raise Sophie who went to Rainbow Bridge shortly before she turned three. She was also a Westie, and I miss her so very much. It took Treasure and Olivia to help ease the pain. Treasure and Olivia have worked their way into my heart and make me laugh all of the time, like you and Jack make your Mommy laugh. They also keep me plenty busy. I know that you and your Mommy really miss Daisy. She sounds like she was a very special "Mommy" and friend. It is good that your brother Jack helps to keep you from getting afraid of storms. I know he is lucky to have you as a big sister. Do you like to snuggle with you mommy like Jack does? Belle, Treasure, and Olivia like to snuggle also. Sometimes it gets a little crowded, though. I am sorry that your Mommy has to work so much--I know you really miss her when she is at work! I know she misses you also. But, she has two wonderful little pups to come home to. Let her know how much you appreciate all of the hard work she does so she can buy all of the things that you need. You have a very special Mommy! It has been so much fun talking to you. When Jack lets me, he thinks mom is all his....sometimes she lets him out and keeps me in so we can have our time!! I like that a lot. Moma, don't want me to feel left out ever. Jack is sweet but he's a little pushy sometimes. He's a velcro dog and I'm more independent. I watch out the window and guard the house and he guards mom! Where ever mom is....there is Jack. He's even been stepped on a couple times!! When mom didn't realize he was so close....silly boy. We really like all your doggy names, Treasure is very unique we think. Now Olivia also thinks she is all Mommy's, but she does it in a much sweeter way. Belle is independent like you are. She likes to guard the house and she likes to be a little more to herself. I also have to make sure that Belle and I get our own time together. Thanks about the names. I chose Treasure's name shortly after my little Sophie went to Rainbow Bridge. I wanted a name to honor Sophie as she brought me sooooo much love and joy. She had helped me through a really tough time and I am not sure I could have made it without her. She was truely a treasure to me so I decided to name Treasure that. I also used to call Sophie Toto and my middle name is Lee. So I named my little girl-- Treasure Totolee. It is an honor to Sophie's and my relationship and how she helped me. But, believe me, Treasure is Treasure. I do not try to compare her. I am so glad to hear from you today. You made my day a little brighter! I hope you and Jack have lots of fun today. Make sure you get plenty of snuggle time with you Mommy--I know she really likes that! We saw her pictures and she is a Treasure, what a beautiful dog, she is! Oliva is very pretty too. Mom says Treasure, reminds her of Daisy in the last picture with Olivia. Maybe, because he's a boy Jack has a different look. Our Jack is a big Westie, not fat, just big....a 26 pounder!! I'm little compared to all the other Mini Schnauzer we know. I'm 14 pounds. I'm taller than Jack because I have LEGS!!! He's like my mom, They are short because they don't have hardly any legs!!hahaha OPPS! I'd better behave!! How is Belle? She is almost my age, I am in very good health and can still keep up with Jack, he is 5. I think I'll go give mom some extra snuggles now, I know she needs them. You also look very pretty with your pretty long legs and Jack is a handsome young man. It is so sweet that Treasure looks alot like Daisy. I actually got Olivia about two weeks after I got Treasure. Olivia has the same daddy that Sophie had, but Treasure looks alot more like Sophie than Olivia does even though Olivia and Sophie are related. My pups all look a little different. They are tired right now and all three girls are snuggling next to me. They each have their own special spot. My daughter's boss has a male Westie. He weighs about 30 pounds and is really tall for a Westie. He also is not fat, he is just a big, healthy, handsome dog. Olivia is on the small size--she also weighs about 14 pounds. Treasure and Olivia weigh about 18 to 20 pounds. It was so nice to talk to you again tonight. My girls all wish you lived closer so they could play with you. I am sure there are a lot of fun things you could do together. Well, I guess I will go to bed as I have to get up really early for work in the morning. It will be a late day tomorrow, so I must get my rest. My girls are all telling me it is time to go to sleep. I hope you and Jack have some nice snuggling time with your Mommy. Have fun tomorrow!
