We hope
We hope all of you Terriers are having a great Spring. What are some of the fun things you have been doing?
We have been very busy chasing the squirrels. We CANNOT let them overrun us. So that means we have been working so very hard. We have also had some killer bees on a shrub close to our front door. Belle has been really trying to take care of them. She has a really tough job, because they must have some big stingers as they are some of the largest bees we have ever seen. Of course we have been doing all of our regular things like walking and keeping our mom busy when we go out and play in the dirt. All terriers have to do those kinds of things. We all hope all of you are having lots of fun also. We are anxiously awaiting your tales--who knows, we may want to try some of the same things you are doing.

We loves to hunt those Squirrels too. We haven't gotten one.....yet!! Last week Brother Jack got a baby bunny! Mom at first thought he had a leaf stuck on the side of his face.....it was a leggy and foot!!!! Dumb Mom....When she said, 'what have you got'.....in her stern voice, he dropped it and it ran away!! Last year, me the 'Penster' got a baby bird! I even got it in the house to my very favorite window perch...then mom waltzs in and says what are you doing? I grabbed it up so she wouldn't see.....there I sat with wings coming out of both sides of my mouth!! You'd thought I said 10 bad words or something....I know mom said at least that!!!hehehe Now she wishes she had a picture to show and thinks it's funny. I am 9 years young and that was my first catch!! We also like to run up and down the fence with Jake the Black Lab and his brother the Beagle, BARKING OF COARSE! Then we do a repeat performance on the other side of the yard with Teddy, the Corgie. By that time mom's hollaring for us to get our patooties inside cuz were disturbing the neighborhood. She is so not fun!!

Oh, my. It sounds like you and your brother Jack are really good hunters. You make all terriers proud!!!! Belle, Treasure, and Olivia all loooove to hunt. Belle brought a couple of birds into the house a couple of years ago. Just like your Mom I was speechless. She has also brought several to the back door. I must admit, I moved the bird feeder outside the fence. Now that little bunny that Jack caught, well my girls have never caught a bunny; and I must say I am so glad they haven't. I cannot imagine what I would do if they did catch a bunny.
It also sounds like you are having a ton of fun with your dog friends. My girls would love to have a dog friend next door to run the fence line with. They used to, but he moved. They miss that sooo much. I did like your Mom does, I gave them a few minutes and then they also had to come in. They told me I was a party pooper.
Belle, Treasure, and Olivia told me to tell you they wish they could come and play with you, because it sounds like you and your brother are so much fun. We all hope you continue to have a wonderful spring time.

Spring well be more fun when all this mud dries up!! We're really tired of having to get our feet wiped every time we come in. We think your pups would be very fun to play with too!!

I agree with the mud part. Belle, Treasure, and Olivia love to get muddy and in the house they like to come. They really get aggravated when I say wait, let's clean up a bit before you come in. My carpet will like it better when the there is less mud. We all hope you have a very good week. Treasure thanks you for the Happy Birthday wish.
