Our Walk
We had such a fun and interesting walk today! We started out on our usual walk down the street and then down a dirt road. We were walking along enjoying all of the wonderful smells and then what should appear. A Wabbit, and it was waiting for us to come up to it! Usually we see one, but they usually run. This one acted like he wanted to play with us until we got up close to it. It then started to run. Uaually we start running when we see them, so maybe he was waiting until we got close to start playing our little game. Of course, our Mommy ran with us to chase him for a minute, but he won. Oh man!
On our way back there was a big lab. He waited for us also. He seemed a little afraid of us three little girls and our sister, Gracie, the Golden. But, he liked our Mommy and started to follow us home. Finally someone came up and got him. Two new friends in one day! Can you believe that!
We had a fun walk and it was so much cooler and not as humid today. It was WONDERFUL!

Re: Our Walk
That does sound like a very fun walk! Usually, Mom, just turns us loose in the backyard as it's fenced but sometimes we get to go on adventures but not as fun as yours. We run into other dogs at the park, once we got to see a herd of deer but normally there are just to many people so the critters don't come out. We have squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits and birds in the yard they can keep us pretty busy. It would be nice to have a dirt road to walk instead of the concrete at the park.

Re: Our Walk
Hi you guys,
Our Mommy also just lets us play in our back yard also. We have lots of squirrels and birds. We think the rabbits are too smart to come in our yard, because they are all around us but not in our yard. We really like our walks and Mommy tries to take us because she knows how much we like it. She also tells us it burns off some of our energy--whatever that means. We are lucky to have a dirt road that is close by. That is where most of the little animals stay.
Our Mommy went to dinner with her two sons and their families last week and they started talking about where they would like to live. Her oldest son said that his number one place to live would be Missouri. She couldn't believe it. He said that it was a beautiful state. We think GA is okay, but we would all like to move also. If we did move, it would probably be a surrounding state--who knows.
We hope you are all having a good week. Have lots of fun with all of those critters.

Re: Our Walk
Missouri, does have some really beautiful places, rivers, lakes, forests, the Ozark Mountains...(actually they are hills)!! We that live here don't appreciate it as we should. Springfield, is my favorite city, it's easy access to a lot of the beautiful parks and lakes. You can always come and visit and check it out! Less bugs, less heat, most the time less humidity, all seasons, we get snow sometimes....sometimes not.
